The trip was beautiful, combining silence and spectacular sunset views of the cranes and harbor, with great stories and history as we turned and headed up the river. We even saw beavers swimming by the water gate, nesting swans, and a tree full of cormorants. Industrial, historical, natural, this trip had it all. Our guide Borna balanced thoughtful commentary, knowledge, and enthusiasm with a pace perfect for appreciation of all we saw. This sunset voyage was a highlight of our visit to this region.
