Culinary cruise with dumpling tasting on the Motlawa River – experience the flavors of Gdansk from the deck of a traditional boat!

Join us on a unique culinary cruise on the Motlawa River that combines relaxation on the water with a true feast for the palate. We set off from an atmospheric location – the former Gdansk shipyard – to sail towards the heart of the city. During the cruise we serve one of the most popular dishes of Polish cuisine – pierogi!

On board a 12-person open deck boat, we prepare freshly made dumplings for the participants, served with crispy fried onions and golden crispbread just before the tasting. It’s not only a culinary highlight, but also a unique experience overlooking Gdansk’s historic waterfront and its architecture.

When the boat enters the Długie Pobrzeże and Żuraw area, the tasting begins. In the city center, with a unique view of the Motlawa River and historic townhouses, you can enjoy the traditional flavors of Polish cuisine in a whole new guise.

Our marina is located at the Imperial Dock (former shipyard area), look for the red containers with the Yard Cafe sign. There are maps and stumbling blocks with directions on the Dock.
The entrance to the pier is at the Yard Cafe, where you can enjoy a tasty coffee, buy other drinks or snacks and admire the view of the shipyard from the terrace.

RULES
I. SCOPE AND SUBJECT MATTER OF THE REGULATIONS
1. These Rules describe the procedure for providing services (performing a cruise) by Galar Gdański, which is a trademark of the Galar Gdański Foundation.

II. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE PROVISION
The tourist services provided by Galar Gdańsk in the field of cruises around Gdańsk are carried out in accordance with all standards required by law, ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. The cruises take place on replicas of old-fashioned wooden boats of the Galar type.
Rules for persons on board and refund/change of tickets:
1. Persons board the boat with a valid ticket.
2. No more than 12 people can board the boat at a time.
3. Boarding must be done in a calm manner so as not to endanger yourself or other passengers.
4. After boarding, passengers are obliged to follow the mate’s instructions.
5. It is forbidden to board the boat for persons who are under the significant influence of alcohol or other intoxicants, even if a reservation has been made and the ticket has been paid. The skipper is the person who decides who is not allowed on board due to the above conditions.
6. In justified cases, the coxswain has the right to refuse or remove from the boat persons who do not comply with the rules of these regulations without the possibility of a refund of the ticket price.
7 Cruise participants under the age of 18 must wear a life jacket.
8 School children and young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
9. Smoking and other intoxicants are prohibited on board the boat.
10. Alcohol is only allowed on board the boat with the consent of the helmsman.
11 Non-aggressive, calm pets are allowed on board the boat. Muzzles are required for dogs. The owner or keeper is fully responsible for any damage caused by the animal.
12. It is forbidden to throw waste or other objects into the water.
13. while sailing and when passing other vessels, it is strictly forbidden to: stand up, lean overboard, grab the side rail of the boat, catch the passing vessel, change places, change places with other persons.
When passing under bridges and walkways, it is strictly forbidden to: get up from your seat, lean overboard, raise your hands, grab bridges, grab the side rail of the boat, change seats, change places with other people. When the water level is high, you should bow your head slightly when passing under walkways.
15. Do not carry bulky objects that may interfere with navigation.
16 The Passenger or his/her guardian is liable for any damage caused by the Passenger to Gdansk Galleria or third parties for reasons attributable to the Passenger.
17 In the event that valuables are destroyed, lost, left behind or stolen during a boat trip, Galar Gdansk is not responsible.
18. Gdansk Galar cannot be held responsible for damage or accidents caused by passengers who do not comply with the rules of these regulations.
19. the boat has an open deck – it is advisable to prepare clothes suitable for the weather.
Galar Gdansk is not responsible for changes and inconveniences that occur during the cruise for reasons beyond Galar’s control, e.g. force majeure, sudden weather situations etc.
21 Galar Gdansk reserves the right to change the route of the cruise as well as the number and order of the places/stops to be visited due to weather conditions, waterway conditions and for the safety of the crew, passengers and the boat.
(22) Galar Gdansk reserves the right to cancel a cruise in case of heavy rain or other conditions that prevent sailing. In such a case, the customer has the right to request a full refund of the ticket amount or a change of the sailing date.
23. When purchasing a ticket via www.galar.org, the customer has the right to cancel the sailing, change its date or time without giving any reason or incurring any costs up to 24 hours before the sailing time. To cancel or change a reservation, it is necessary to contact Galar Gdansk by e-mail at hello@galar.org.
24. Any reservations regarding the service provided and complaints should be reported by e-mail to: hello@galar.rog.pl. Complaints will be processed within 7 working days.
25. By participating in the cruise, passengers accept without reservation the terms and conditions set out in these Rules.
26. Galar Gdańsk operates an external customer service for accepting reservations and handling complaints: e-mail: hello@galar.org.pl, tel. +48 500 609 999.
27. Tourist Cruise Service is operated at 1 Dokowa Street, 80-863 Gdańsk.
III. PRIVACY POLICY
1. The administrator of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 and the Personal Data Protection Act of 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000) is: Galar Gdański, al. Grunwaldzka 5, 80-236 Gdańsk, registered in the Entrepreneurship Register of the National Court Register under KRS: 0000716387, REGON: 369372856, NIP: 9571101331.
(2) Galar Gdanski processes the personal data requested in the order form in order to provide electronic services, conclude and execute sales contracts for the products ordered by the customer.
3 The provision of personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the fulfillment of the contract and purchase.
(4) We will retain your personal data until the end of the contract, but with the proviso that it may be retained for the purposes of complaint handling, statistics, marketing and invoicing in situations where this is required or permitted by applicable law.
(5) The following e-mail address is used to contact the administrator: info@galar.org. By contacting the Administrator, the Customer may request access to his data in order to modify, correct, delete, transfer or object to further processing.
IV. FINAL PROVISIONS
1. The Administrator cannot be held liable to the Customer for actions resulting from the actions of the payment and booking intermediary.
2. The Administrator reserves the right to include the Customer’s name on the tickets sold for verification purposes during the event and to eliminate the procedure for customers to purchase tickets for the purpose of reselling them for profit.
3.Any attempt to purchase tickets for the purpose of reselling them for profit is a criminal offense (Article 133 of the Criminal Code) and will be reported to the relevant law enforcement authorities. Tickets that are subject to offers for resale for profit may be invalidated. The Administrator reserves the right to refuse to refund the customer for tickets purchased for the purpose of resale for profit.
4. Galar Gdansk reserves the right to record the event and take pictures of customers using digital devices to record the progress of the cruise. By purchasing a ticket, the customer automatically consents to the recording of his/her image.
5. Issues not covered by the rules are recommended to be resolved amicably. Any unresolved disputes will be settled by the ordinary courts with jurisdiction over the seat of the Galar Gdańsk Foundation.
The Rules are valid from May 1, 2021.
