Cruise around Gdańsk
Explore Gdańsk from the water level, aboard a replica of a Polish river boat that has been in use for over 400 years. Boats of this type were used mainly in the 18th century.
Start your cruise around Gdańsk from the Galar Gdański marina located at the Shipyard, which used to be a workplace for almost 18,000 people and was unavailable to visitors for over 170 years. The Gdańsk shipyard was established after 1945 on the site of the former German shipyards. This is where the Solidarity movement comes from. This trade union, established in 1980, led to the fall of communism in Poland.
Sail along the Motława River through the center of the Old Town. Learn a lot of interesting information and see many tourist attractions in Gdańsk, including the grounds of the Teutonic castle, the Long Quay with water gates leading to the city, the famous wooden Crane from the 15th century, and charming old tenement houses and their new surroundings. Continue your cruise around Gdańsk, admiring other monuments and new buildings on the Ołowianka Island and the Granary Island. This cruise is also a unique opportunity to see up-close specialized ships, port cranes which are the symbol of the city and the quay of the Port of Gdansk.
End your cruise around Gdańsk at the same location from which you departed or ask the captain about the possibility of ending the cruise a little closer to the Old Town.
